Fresh water, clean bedding and peaceful moments with the animals. There are so many ways to be part of sanctuary life.
Good work. Good company.
We welcome helping hands of all skill levels, with chores to match different comfort levels and abilities. Volunteering is a chance to connect with the animals, learn about their care and make a practical difference.
A typical visit might include
- Mucking stalls and shelters
- Moving hay, straw or manure by wheelbarrow
- Washing feed bowls and water buckets
- Scrubbing troughs and cleaning enclosures
- Bonding time and belly rubs, when the residents are interested
Volunteer times
Monday–Friday: 10:30 a.m.–noon or 12:30–2 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday: 1–4 p.m.
