Part-time animal caregiver

Our caregiver role supports the daily wellbeing of pigs, goats, sheep, cows and horses. Work takes place outdoors in all weather, with kindness and a strong sense of responsibility at its centre.

Ask about current openings. Contact us to confirm vacancies, hours and start dates. The previously posted role covered Saturday–Tuesday, totalling 15 hours, with possible opportunities to move to full-time work.

What the role involves

  • Mucking barns and managing paddocks
  • Preparing feed and monitoring supplies
  • Cleaning bowls and refilling water troughs
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns
  • Restocking hay, straw and other supplies
  • Assisting with basic health checks and care, including hoof trims

What we look for

Compassion for animals, dependability, clear communication, comfort around large animals and a willingness to get messy. The role involves lifting up to 50 lb and being on your feet for several hours. Farm experience is helpful, but we can train the right person.
