Our Veterinary Clinic Is Here! But We’re Not Quite Finished Yet. ❤️
First and foremost, THANK YOU.
Because of your extraordinary generosity, something we once only dreamed of has become a reality. We have officially purchased our veterinary clinic!
Not only has the clinic arrived at GLO Farm Sanctuary, but it has now been placed on a proper gravel pad and professionally hardwired for electricity. This is an enormous milestone for our sanctuary and we cannot begin to express how grateful we are to everyone who helped make it possible.
Having a dedicated veterinary space right here on the property is truly transformative. It means we can provide medical care in a controlled, dedicated environment, reduce the stress associated with transporting animals for treatment and give our veterinary team the space and resources they need to care for our residents.
For a sanctuary committed to providing exceptional, lifelong medical care, this is a huge step forward.
And we couldn’t have done it without you.
The Next Phase: Protecting What We’ve Built
While we’re thrilled with how far we’ve come, there is still one very important piece of this project that needs to be completed.
We need to build a roof over the clinic.
Anyone familiar with winters on Manitoulin Island knows that our snowfall is no joke. And as much as we’d prefer not to admit it, those heavy snowfalls will be arriving sooner than we’d like!
Our clinic represents a significant investment in the future of GLO and more importantly, in the health and well-being of the animals who call this sanctuary home. Protecting that investment from the weight of heavy snow and the harsh realities of Northern Ontario winters is essential.
We need to construct a protective roof structure over the clinic to help ensure it remains safe, functional, and in good condition for many years to come.
To complete this next phase, we need to raise an additional $15,000.

Why We Still Need Your Help
We know that so many of you have already given generously toward this project, and we want to be completely transparent about why we’re asking for your help again.
Running a sanctuary means that even the best-laid plans can change in an instant.
While we were fundraising for the clinic, our animals continued to need medical care, and some of those needs were both urgent and incredibly expensive.
There was our beloved Winnie, whose palliative care was an important part of ensuring that her final chapter was filled with comfort, dignity, and love.
There was Delilah, who required veterinary treatment for a serious air sac infection.
And Daphne, who needed emergency surgery to remove her eye.
These are just a few examples of the unexpected veterinary expenses we’ve faced. A significant portion of the funds we had raised went toward meeting these immediate medical needs.
And while that has left us with more fundraising to do, we will never regret prioritizing the health, comfort, and well-being of the animals in our care.
That is after all why GLO exists.
We cannot ask an animal to wait for medical treatment because we have a construction project underway. When someone needs us, we respond. Sometimes that means redirecting resources, adjusting our timelines, and asking our incredible community to help us get across the finish line.
One Final Push: $15,000
We’ve already accomplished so much together. The clinic has been purchased. It’s here. It’s sitting on its gravel pad. It’s connected to electricity. Now, we just need to protect it.
Every dollar raised toward this next phase will help us get closer to building the protective roof that our clinic needs before winter arrives.
Whether you’re able to contribute $5, $50, $500, or simply share our fundraiser with someone who might be interested in helping, please know that your support means the world to us.
We recognize that times are difficult for many, and we never take your generosity for granted.
From the Bottom of Our Hearts, Thank You.
This clinic is more than a building.
It represents better access to veterinary care, faster intervention when something goes wrong, and the ability to provide an even higher standard of medicine to animals who have already endured so much.
It represents our commitment to doing everything we can for the individuals who depend on us.
And it represents what is possible when a community of compassionate people comes together for animals.
We are so incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished, and even more grateful to the people who made it happen.
We’re so close. Please help us raise the final $15,000 to protect our clinic and the future of veterinary care at GLO Farm Sanctuary.
With enormous gratitude,
The GLO Farm Sanctuary Team ❤️
